Exciting News!

Hello everybody! How have your past couple of weeks been! Mine have been good! Lots of exciting things happening! Right now I'm currently sitting in church waiting for my sisters confirmation to begin. I will put a picture of our outfits below! I can't believe how the first week of April has already come and gone! It's so crazy. On Friday, April 4th we had to have a rough idea of our Ted talk, since we are hosting a Tedx event at our school this coming June. I think that I am going to be doing my talk on self confidence, because I have noticed in myself that I have become a lot more confident recently, and my 20 Time project has really helped my realize this. Before I would never speak about my YouTube account with anyone, not even my parents knew that I had a channel, but now I love talking about it so much, because I love sharing my passion with everyone!

This past couple of weeks I have uploaded my March Favorites video on 28th of March, and then this past week on April 4th, I uploaded this really silly video that I filmed with my cousin Hayley when she was in town about 2 weeks ago. I have been very busy lately filming new videos and coming up with new video ideas. I think about 2 weeks ago I filmed my everyday make up routine, which was very requested. Or any make up tutorial in general was really requested amongst my friends and family. So I'm  happy to be able to put that video live next week hopefully! Also I really want to film a spring look book! Finally after what seems like the longest winter ever, spring has sprung! I am so ready to pull out all of my new spring clothes and start to film some spring videos!

In other news, I have officially found a partner on YouTube! It was a very exciting process, but I am now officially a part of the Seventeen network! Yes, Seventeen as in Seventeen magazine! I found the contract when watching on of their videos on their fairly new YouTube channel! It was a exciting to find out that they had accepted me! I can't wait to have some exciting opportunities come my way in the future! This will also help grow my channel as well, which is also very exciting to me, not so much others. I love the fact that I can have a job doing something that I love. It doesn't even feel like a job to me!

My dress is the purple scalloped one from Ann Taylor Loft and my sisters dress is from Lilly Pulitzer!

March Ipsy Bag "Destination Beauty"

Hello everyone! I hope you had a great couple of weeks! I have my cousin coming in this week so I'm really excited to film a couple of videos with her! Also I have some exciting news coming out soon! I was going to film a spring look book last week, but it snowed at least 6 inches last Wednesday, so that ruined my plans. Hopefully next weekend I can film a couple look books! Also, last week I filmed my 4th empties video and had so many products in it, Caroline, my sister was making me laugh a bunch during the video so that was probably funny to watch. As we all know this blog post is my March Ipsy bag, this months theme was "Destination Beauty", perfect since a lot of people went on spring break this month, unfortunately my spring break is not until April, around Easter time which is pretty late compared to everyone else! I will put all of the prices below of everything that was in the bag! My bag this month was about $60 worth of products! Alright let's get in with the Ipsy bag!

I thought that this bag was really cool, especially since Ipsy had an outside source design the bag, rather then one of the employees, and looking at my other Ipsy bags this one is by far the most colorful!

This is the card that comes with the bag, like every month. It is super cute because the island on the card represents a eyeshadow trio, which is so funny! I thought that this card brought an extra hint of fun to the bag!

Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer-$9
I have only received a pixi bronzer and mascara, so I am excited to try other things from this brand! This will be coming with me on spring break for sure!

NYX Love in Rio Eye Trio-$6
I love everything from NYX! I can't wait to try out some of these colors as well! The only thing is that some of their eyeshadows don't give off the best color pigmentation, but that's okay I can't make it work!

Chella Liquid Eye Liner Pen in Indigo Blue-$24
This color will be so fun to play around with! I want to see if it would stay if I were to apply this on my waterline! That would be an added surprise to any makeup look! And it would be really cute to wear by the pool or the beach, because I think that this is a water proof product!

Sorry for such a small swatch!

bareMinerals Lip Stick-$18 for full size
I have never tried a bareMinerals product before, but I'm really glad that I got this! I wore this out last week really quick when I went out to go and grab Starbucks with a friend, and when I took a sip of my drink, I forgot that I had on this color! It is super pretty and I really like the way it looks on my skin tone!

The color is in "Get Ready"

As you can see from my products above, I can almost do a full face of makeup! Most of these will be going down to Florida with me! I will be there in less than a month and I cannot wait! Seriously this year has been going so fast! Pretty soon it will be my birthday, and then the end of school! It's crazy!

Well I hope you all enjoyed this blog post! I will talk to you all in 2 weeks! So the first week of April! Make sure you check out my YouTube channel at and follow me in Twitter at @maddiesmoment! Have a great couple of weeks and I will talk to you all soon!

February Favorites

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week and I can't even believe that February is over! It seems that this year is going by so fast even though its only the second month! As always I have my favorites of the month ready to show you all! I'm surprised with how many actual products this month, I even forgot a few, but don't worry they will be up in next months favorites! If you don't watch my videos then, I am so sorry for the complete craziness that went on during last months favorites. I think I was just so excited that I was using my new camera, and I just wanted to include too much I guess. Anyways, this month was much more calm and collected. Lets get started, because I'm so excited to tell you all about everything that I was enjoying this month!

That Gal by Benefit
This little guy came in a pack with two other little makeup products. This is a primer that comes out pink, to give your skin a healthy glow. Let me tell you-I used this product down to the last drop, and I am now currently debating on whether I want to buy the full sized product. I can't say anything but good things about this product.

Pacifica Roller Ball in Island Vanilla
This was the perfume that I have been using this month. I really enjoy this scent. I got this roller ball perfume in my first Ipsy bag. I usually go for a more floral scent, but this vanilla scent isn't too strong. Like I said in my video, I have been using this perfume to take a break from a box set perfume that my sister got me for Christmas. This was a nice little break from that box to use this perfume.

Lash Potion By Revlon and Flamed Out By CoverGirl
I love mascara. I have an addiction, and for that reason my mom refuses to buy me anymore mascara. I like this duo, because it makes my lashes curl just a tad, (I don't like to curl my lashes, the curler scares me!), and makes my lashes look by dramatic. These mascaras together have both the volumizing, and the lengthening factor. Also, what is a favorites blog post if I don't include at least one mascara.

Hand Food By Soap & Glory
This is my first Soap & Glory product, and I really like it. I am going to have to try more products from the company. I really like the way my hands smell after using this before I go to bed. It makes my hands nice and smooth in the morning as well. All of the names for the products from Soap & Glory have really creative and funny names, that make the products even more fun to use!

Secret Wonderland By Bath & Body Works
I received this lotion a few years ago for Christmas from one of my friends, and the smell is so nice for this time of year. But I have realized that I enjoy the Shea butter lotions better from Bath & Body Works, but I will still use this down to the last drop.

Sexy Dalia Rush By Bath & Body Works
I found this body wash at the Bath & Body Works semi-annual sale for $2.50! It came at the perfect timing because just recently I had finished a different body wash. The smell is amazing, and packaging is just so pretty on the bottle as well. I believe that this was scent was a limited edition scent for last winter and they wanted to clear them all out I guess! It was the best $2.50 I have ever spent!

Leave in Conditioner By Healthy Sexy Hair
I got a mini one of these in one of my Ipsy bags, and I used that all the way down to the last spray. Caroline had found this huge bottle at TJ Maxx for about ten dollars, I think that is less than what Ulta sells this product for, but it comes with so much more! I love the way that my hair is so smooth when I use this. The leave in conditioner also acts as a detangaler, which is really nice becuse then I don't have to use as many products in my hair!

Merdona Purse From Target
I bought this purse at Target, and it was the best money I have ever spent on a purse. This purse is very deep, and holds a lot more things than you would expect. The colors are very nuetral, so it goes with everything. I just love this purse so much! Also please excuse all of them "ms" in the background, I haven't hung them up yet!

"M" Necklace By C. Wonder
I have worn this necklace so much this month! It is a "M" gold necklace that I can wear everyday, and wait the other necklaces that I have. I think that this necklace acts like a monogram, since I don't have my own monogram necklace yet. I just love the way this necklace looks with all of my outfits!

Pearl Earrings (my nail polish is Zoya's Mickey)
This was the other jewelry item that I have been wearing a lot this month, and they are my pearl earrings that my mom gave me. I have had these pearls for a while now, but I have just recently started wearing them on a daily basis, instead of just going out for dinners or for parties.

I have recently dyed my hair. It is an ombré effect, but in general it gives my hair a blonder look. I just can't stop playing with my hair and looking at it! I'm so happy with the end results! I'm glad that all of my friends and family like it as well!

Fashionista Advisory Explicit Style By Forever 21
This was my favorite sweater this month. Sorry the picture came out kind of blurry, I didn't notice that it was until I uploaded to my blog. This sweater was so comfortable and cozy. I have paired this sweater with leggings and a bun, and with an ox blood leather skirt with straight hair. This sweater is just so easy. Also this is one of those sweaters that fits you perfectly even though it is an oversized sweater.

That all for my favorites this month! I hope you all enjoyed reading my blog this month! I will talk to you all next week! Have a great week!

20 Time reflection:
What have you liked the most/least about 20 Time this year?

I really like how I can share my passion for fashion through my YouTube channel, and through my blog. I just love talking about fashion, or makeup and giving tips and advice. My least favorite thing about 20 Tme, is that sometimes I feel like my project isn't as interesting as others, but after thinking about that, I am doing something that I am passionate about, and I'm okay with not having a project like my classmates, that's why my stands out.

What would you do differently?

I'm not really sure what I would do differently. Maybe not wait as long to tell my friends about my project, because like I said I am doing something that I love. I shouldn't have been embarrassed about my project at first.

February Ipsy Bag "The Look of Love"

Hello everyone! I  hope you had a great couple of weeks! My week was nice, very relaxing. I hung out at home and babysat a lot. I also filmed a video for next week, and went on a couple shopping excursions as well. But from the title of this post, the last video that I posted was my February Ipsy Bag. It was a nice bag, I really enjoyed the things in it, but I'm sorry to disappoint you all, but I don't have the full descriptions about the products like I normally do. I haven't tried out as many items this time as I usually do. The few that I have tried, I love very much. This month I also gave one of the products to my mom, because I didn't really have a use for it. I also came up with a total for my bag this month. Ipsy is a $10 monthly subscription with 5-6 beauty products in it each month, and every month there is a theme to the bag. This month my bag totaled around $31.98, excluding one item because I could not really find an accurate price on it. As I go through the photos I will make sure to put the price next to the products. Let's get started!

This was the little card that came in the bag, there is one every month. It is very helpful because it shows you all of the companies involved in Ipsy this month. Also it usually has coupon codes, so if you like the item you could get it at a discounted price, or you could try on of the other products in the bag.

This is what the bag looked like this month, very girly. I loved it! There is a closer picture of the lining a but further down. This bag was perfect for the month of February because of Valentines Day of couse! I also really like the detailing of white, it is a very bright white so it stands out.
Zoya Nail Polish in Odette $9
I love Zoya nail polishes, I am currently wearing one on my nails now! Sadly, it is not this color, I really wanted a bright color to get me ready for spring, so my nails are a bright Pinky-Coral color. But this color is definitely next on my list to wear. This color is not too dark, so it also works for spring.

City Color Be Matte Blush in Fresh Melon $2.99
This blush was one of the only products that I have tried this month! It has a nice matte finish (hence the name), and the color payoff is really nice! It is very pigmented so you have to be careful when applying this blush. But if you apply it just right, it gives you a nice wash of color.

Pop Beauty Lip Gloss in Peony Petal $16
I really like the pop beauty products, I have a few from other Ipsy bags in the past. This lip gloss is really pretty! I'm so sorry that I didn't get a swatch of this color but it is a very rich hue, of dark pink. It will be very nice to wear when you go out in the summer if you want a dark lip, but nothing like the dark trends in the fall! Beauty Eyelashes & Eyelash Glue $3.99
These are some false eyelashes, now I don't really know when I am ever going to use these, because I'm not very fond of the eyelashes. But I guess this will be a nice way to try these out, when I am going out or for homecoming next year.

This is an upclose look at the lining. It is cheetah. How much cuter can you get? I just love these bag colors so much!

I hope you all enjoyed this blog post! These Ipsy bags are some of my favorite to write about, because its fun sharing products with you all! I am now going to continue on with my Sunday, eating cinnamon rolls and drinking hot chocolate, while watching the Barclays Premier Leauge with my parents. I will talk to you all next week, with my February Favorites post. I can't believe that spring is right around the corner! Also with spring right around the corner, that means a look book will be coming out soon! Right now I'm look at the end of March, because spring doesn't start until the 20th. Have a great week everyone! Bye!

Valentine's Day

Hello everyone! I hope that your week was good! My week was fun! Except for this weekend, because now I am getting over a little cold, so that's no fun especially since my school has a mid-winter break coming up next week, and my cousin is coming to stay with me for a few days! I am so excited that she is coming, we always have so much fun together. This past week I wanted to make a fun and quick little Valentine's Day Look Book! It only has 4 outfits, but I really like all of them! I will put some pictures down below with where all of my clothes are from. After I had filmed it I asked Rachel to edit it for me, and she likes to edit my fashion videos, so that's always nice! Make sure you go check out her Twitter at @Rachelannen and her blog at . Also I have filmed a couple videos this weekend when I was still feeling well, and one of those videos was with my sister Caroline and the other was just by myself, both videos were fun to film! The one with Caroline was a haul video, and we hauled what we got from Target, because I had to pick up something for friends, and Caroline had to get things for her upcoming vacation during break. My other video was kind of like a life update, because I feel like I haven't done one of those videos yet in the New Year, the video was just to let everyone know what was going on for the next couple of months, and if they wanted to put in any suggestions for some of my upcoming videos. Other than that I think I want to put up another outfits of the week for the upcoming week, and then of course some bonus videos with Hayley and the other two videos that I have talked about above.

I hope you all will enjoy some of the pictures below, and enjoyed this blog post! Thank you so much for reading this week! I won't have a blog post next week, but the week after that the blog posts will return back on a normal schedule!
Make sure you are following me on Twitter for updates on videos! @maddiesmoment
Talk to you all in a few weeks! Bye!
In this photo you can't see what I'm wearing, but I wore a red cardigan, a white floral tank top, jeans, and boots.
And of course, my red bow!

This outfit was another casual one.
My pink sweater is from Zara and my necklace is from BaubleBar.

This was my vampy look. You can't see the detailing, but my shirt has little black bows on it.
My shirt is from Ann Taylor, and I am wearing a ox blood circle skirt from Nordstrom.

I am in love with this dress and I can't wait to wear it more this summer!
The pink floral dress is from Forever 21. I also have on bow earring and a little flower midi-ring also from Forever 21.

January Favorites

Hello Everybody! How was your week? Mine was good, I feel like I got a lot accomplished! Our school system also had another snow day this week! I barely remember what it is like going to a full school week, because its been so long! This week the weather was crazy, it would either be freezing, with wind chills well below zero, or in the 30s and feeling as if a heat wave was passing by! Michigan just can't decide on the weather lately! This past Friday I had uploaded my first favorites video of the New Year! I can't believe it is already February! Also, I uploaded my video using my new camera that I got for Christmas! I was super excited! I can't wait to film more videos on my camera coming up! I am going to put in a few pictures from my favorites, but let me warn you it was a super random month of favorites!

Oil Blotting Pads- Essence of Beauty
Hand Sanitizer- Bath & Body Works in Candy Cane Bliss
I would say that these two items go hand in hand, because in the morning I first put on the hand sanitizer and then I use the oil blotting pads to get off any excess oil, so that my makeup stays on longer!
Hand Soap- Bath & Body Works in Black Cherry Merlot
This soap from Bath & Body Works smell so good! I can not even describe the scent other than a mix between candy and Luden's cough drops. If your local Bath & Body Works still has this soap, I highly recommend that you go and pick some up really soon!

Hair Serum- Big Sexy Hair Blow Dry Volumizing Gel
I love this stuff for my hair! I must have not mentioned it in my December Favorites, but I should have, because I know I used it so much during that month. It makes my hair so soft and helps keep some of my baby-hairs at bay.
Acne Gel- Clearasil 4 hour rapid relief
This acne cream has also been really helpful this month! I had a lot of problem stops in the beginning of the month and once I used this, it cleared up in a matter of days! I really like the way it feels on my skin too. It has a tingling feeling, so its not that rough, and could maybe used on sensitive skin as well!

Lotion- Nourish Organics (it is available at Target!)
I have been using this lotion on my feet lately, and remember how much I like it from when I was using it back in October! I still can't tell if I like the scent or not, it has a very prominent scent but, it is still tolerable for me!

Eye Cream- skiin Soothing and Smoothing Eye Cream

I love this eye cream so, so much! I can't say anything else about it other than the fact that I noticed a difference with in days of first using this product! I don't know what else to say but, I love it!
Lip Balm- Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm

I have been using this lip balm before I go to bed, since it is a heavier formula, but it does repair my lips overnight and makes them really soft!
Blush- Benefit Rockateur
Brush is from a set found on Groupon
This Benefit blush is so pretty! The color gives you a nice-"I just went outside on a brisk walk" look, and it is perfect for winter! I have a feeling though that it will be a really nice color in the spring and summer as well! Also the blush has a very nice scent to it, and I love that as well, I always smell it before and after I apply the blush! Also, the brush that I have been applying the blush with is above, I got this in a set that I received for Christmas! It is a really nice basic blush brush!
Nail Polish- Essie's Mind Your Mittens
This Essie nail polish has been on my nails all month. I'm not even joking. I think that most of the time the nail polish was super chipped, but it was still on my nails! This color is a really pretty blue-grey color, so it is perfect for this time of year!
Eye Shadow- Stila's Kitten
I love this eye shadow, it is the perfect color for everyday wear, so of course I have been wearing this color everyday to school! It has a nice shimmery effect but the color is a champagne/pink, but I could be completely wrong, that is just the way that I see this color, you could see it a different way than I do!

Brush is a DLX Fan also found in the set on Groupon

This fan brush is perfect for brushing away the eye shadow that falls below the eye. At first I wasn't really sure what this brush was for, but now I use it everyday to get rid of the excess eye shadow! This brush is also from the same set as the blush brush above.
Eye Shadow Palette- Naked 3 by Urban Decay
Ah, the beloved Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay. These colors are so pretty and I use these colors a lot over the weekend when I have to go out, or if I feel like spicing up my everyday look! And below the colors are shown, and it is a mix between mattes and shimmer/glitter shadows.

Fashion A-Z
An Illustrated Dictionary
by: Alex Newman and Zakee Shariff
This coffee table book is really interesting because it has every fashion definition available! I am only in the "C" section but I love this so much! I think that this book is really cute and tiny! Perfect in case you want to read it while sipping on a coffee!
100 Years of Fashion
by: Cally Blackman
This was my other favorite coffee table book and this one is even more interesting! It has a century of fashion all in the book! The book is separated in to 2 sections 1900-1959 and 1960-Present. I am still in the first half, right around the World War 2 era with Christian Dior's New Fashion! The only bad part to this book is that it is really heavy, so you wouldn't really want to travel around with this book!

Lip Gloss- NYX Butter Gloss in Crème Brule
Lastly, this was my favorite lip gloss of the month, it is the perfect pink color, and just gives you the perfect wash of color. I have been wear this almost daily, because I can apply it really fast and then throw it right in my bag! The NYX brand is considered a drug store brand so most of their products are relatively cheap, I think that this lip gloss was around 4 or 5 dollars! Not that bad at all! I can't wait to try out more colors from this line, and the new line coming out soon!

See, I told you that this month was really random! I love every single one of these products so much! I am really excited for next weeks blog post because I was working on a special little project for Valentines Day! I don't want to say what it is yet! Don't worry, it will be really fun! I also can't wait because my cousin might becoming for a long weekend since we both have a mid-winter break coming up!

I know this is a really long blog post, so I am going to go now! I hope you all have a great weekend and a great week! I will talk to you all next week! Bye!
